I think I did you a disservice with my theme description, I think all of your pictures would qualify as unexpected! I was a bit vague because I didn't wanna dampen creativity, but I fully considered "astronauts that aren't human" to be unexpected to a (hopefully) human audience.

In either case, I love it!

Now that isekai has firmly established itself as a subgenre in western storytelling (although it has always been there in some form), it got me thinking about what to call the subgenres of isekai itself.

If isekai itself is being transported to another world/universe, and reverse isekai is someone from another world being transported to ours... Then what do we call someone from another world being transported to another other wold? Or someone from our world being transported to another time in our world? Do these have names already?

Setting aside if we like or appreciate isekai, if they don't have genres names yet I thought it'd be funny to come up with our own. What do you think we should call all the sub-subgenres?

We will never consumer our way of of a problem capitalism created. And public transit is nearly always a better solution to spending on car infrastructure.

... but... If you're gonna buy a new car anyway, they have the potential to cause less climate impact (although they're still environmentally devastating in other ways). As power generation becomes cleaner, so too do the cars. ICE cars are already about as environmentally friendly as they're gonna get, but EVs still have a lot of potential improvement (both in emissions and in things like material mining).

Although the tire microplastics is gonna get worse.

Someone in the govt got a old Ukranian dude to speak to the parlement, and they all applauded him for fighting Russia in WW2, forgetting that the people who faught Russia in WW2 were the Nazis.

Honestly I think they look pretty good.

But Elon is a fuck. And their build quality is shit. And I refuse to support that kind of company. And fuck people who do support them.
