What are you getting out of this friendship?

People working fast food work way harder than servers or bartenders and they also work way harder than cooks in a sit down place, all of those people work really fucking hard, I'm a cook, I know, but the average McDonalds employee is all three at once and the volume is at a level I can't even understand dealing with. There isnt a decent chef on earth who would say they work harder thsn a fast food worker, I've done fine to high midscale my whole time along with extremely fancy catering and everyone doing that stuff even respects the absolute hell out of fast food workers. As I posted above, I'd rather teach a fast food worker how to cook good good than tracj a fresh culinary student how to handle a busy service.
Also, tips aren't even close to that high
Damn, he got removed by mod before I went the absolute fuck off on this idiot. I work high end stuff and have been blessed to never have had to work fast food and can very reasonably say those people work SO much harder than we do and we work really really hard. I couldn't do it and no one should even have to, those conditions are nuts and kitchens aren't a ballpark to begin with. If there's a fast food gig on your resume I take it as a huge plus, if you can handle that, the stress aspect is already handled and the rest is learning how to cook. I've met plenty of people thst did culinary school before working any kitchen jobs and someone who is pure theory and full of themselves is way worse thsn someone who had grinded it out before but needs to learn how to food. Teaching people how to cook is esybessier thsn teaching people how to deal with kitchen bullshit.
Restaurateurs are businesspeople too, they're just worse at it
Hmm, I don't hang out with people who are like this. My friends are leftists and know wassup and my co-eorkers and acquaintances are politically ignorant as hell but have the humility to believe what I tell em cause I can explain history good. If someone does have those views they keep it to themselves around me because I don't suffer bullshit like that and will give someone a really really long lecture.
I just saynthat Johm Wick killed all those guys
Here's why your friend is a.misguided fool and feel free to use this: as a leftist your interest when war between two bourgeois powers go to war is primarily to minimize the amount of working class people being killed because they are the clas you're attempting to uphold. This means that the war and therefore killing ending earlier is better so aside from not having a war in the first place the fastest route to peace is the best route. In this case that is Ukraine's surrender, doesn't need to be unconditional and could probably have been more conditional earlier but at the end of the day every way ends at the negotiation table and Ukraine's power at that table has only lessened.
When the reboot was announced I kept seeing people saying Dale would be a Q Anon guy. Fuck no. He'd say "have you fellas heard of these Quew-A(hard a)-non people..amateurs." and that'd be the only mention. King of the Hill isn't my favorite show but I've found through making up fake episodes at work as a bit, I really really get the voice of and could totally handle writing for it. I even have outlines, I genuinely think I crushed the nearly impossible 2016 election one where I have Hank vote for Jill Stein.
Just got back from jamming with a pal on a 2 piece incredibly not accessible noise/industrial thing. We're ripping off Brighter Death Now for the most part. And on the way back some rando from my neighborhood who's like 60 or so approached me outside the grocery store, mentioned he'd seen me around a bunch and liked my general style, asked if I played music and would be down to jam. I guess he was a jam band acid head in the 80s and then he too, discovered industrial and harsh noise in the early 90s. So, there may be a double project going here cause this guy is a guitarist, I am bass and the pal I was jamming with is one of the best drummers I've ever heard let alone met. This 2 person thing doesn't really involve instruments aside from having them plugged and facing the speaker to create feedback, we're playing the pedals really. So we could also do a thing with a more traditional band structure. I'm at the point musically I just wanna make the least accessible music with like 1-2 other people tops.

Finding out how many people don't understand how eclipses work on even its the moon blocking the sun angle was really cool. I found out a local college was giving students free eclipse glasses do I went up there and traded a couple joints for a pair with some students and got to.hesr stoned college bros say stuff like 'I wonder what this looks like from Europe?' or "imagine seeing this on Mars" or 'what would happen if they shot a rocket through the eclipse"
