There are lots of articles where I go "I don't give a shit." And I keep it to myself and scroll on. This one makes me actually ask "Who gives a shit?" In a legitimately curious capacity.

Like of all the low stakes, nothing burger, things to ban or get concerned about being banned. It's just too weird for my comprehension.

If browsers actually permit a webpage to create national security issues, I'd think that Russia's probably facing larger problems than that particular site.

Can't Russians just use a Russia-based speed test service? The results shouldn't be too different from a US one, other than lower latency. Or just use one of the many other US-based services.
