Adoption Certificate for Nellie, the Daily Thread numbat (with thanks to @Catfish)
Lol, that cat showbag I got yesterday had a pack of Hills Science Diet sachets, turkey and liver casserole. It's the first time I've seen Mickey eat it all - usually he licks up all the gravy and leaves some of the meat bits with the Dine sachets,, but nup, he ate up all of Hills.
Hills it is Mickey, you fickle furrball
Until you buy a box of it, then he won't like it anymore!
Iโm a learner gardener and have inadvertently bumped off more plants than I care to admit. Despite this, these orchids have been going strong for about 15 years, so thought Iโd show them off
I splurged and got a slice of cheese cake and a small mousse.
Living large over here lol
I slipped and fell last night right on my bum and today my tailbone / sacrum is definitely bruised. Good excuse for a lazy day but I can't help wondering at what ages does one go from "fell over" to "had a fall".... ๐ง
I don't know, but a couple of weeks ago I turned my head slightly the wrong way and had to go the physio lol
You are old when you have a fall and end up with a broken hip and in hospital lol
Tripped over something, stepped on something slippery etc. = "fell over"
Ended up on the ground because you can no longer balance while standing without something to hold on to = "had a fall"
BEEEEZ
Echium to the pollinator rescue.
After 40 years she gets her own story for the first time.
Girlboss Zelda coming in hot ๐ about time she gets the spotlight.
Iโm still struggling both physically and mentally. Forcing myself to do stuff is backfiring and causing a lot of stress. But the alternative is to just do nothing? Indefinitely?
Iโve inexpertly taken the soil samples and only just remembered - even if they come back safe I might not use the soil because thereโs the cat poo to consider.
When I adopted Melbcat she was an outdoor girlie. While that was years ago and sheโs now adjusted to being a litterbox enjoyer, I canโt promise the same for the visiting cats or possums.
I'm free at last ๐๐ป๐ป๐ป๐บ.
Actually didn't mind working today for almost $100 per hour ๐

No food for me, I'm about to be spun around, up and down, and have my photo taken without realising ๐
I have procured salmon tempura sushi roll. This is the business
for a perfectly balanced diet i shall have porridge for breakfast and then buy KFC to bring to work
Miserable Melbourne weather out west after a ripper 29C yesterday, guess it was to prepare me for coming back home. I'm still feeling anxious about uni and not being up to what's required of me - but the TLC at my aunties has been really great. I'm glad I'm not staying longer or I think I'd get to a point of indulged-in inertia that I won't be able to get out of in a hurry...
No shitโฆ.
Beer & chips in the sunshine, don't mind if I do.
ash nazg thrak.. โ๏ฝก๐ฆนยฐโง๐ซงหห๐ข wow i walked over 19000 steps yesterday
Wow that's 0.00004% of the way to the moon!
Just a weird day here.
But what is not weird. I don't think I will ever tire of looking at the stars. They are always beautiful and wondrous. ๐
What are people's plans today? Grand Final related or not
Work ๐ 2.5x pay
Love those public holiday rates!
Oh what a beautiful morning,
Oh what a beautiful day,
I've got a beautiful feeling,
The washing will get dry today.
Movies. Runt. May require 2nd mortgage to pay for tickets and snacks.
Working but taking a day in lieu next Friday.
The free food market was small today but I managed to get enough to pull together meals for a few days. My most urgent need was tomatoes and fruit, which I did manage to get. Now I just need to do a proper menu plan for the next few days and I'm set.
I'm watching all the Death Stranding movie cut scenes. Looks like it's about a guy who is asked to take things from A to B and it's never easy.
Is anyone else's NBN completely screwed or is this a job I need to sort?
How does one tell if it's completely screwed? Well, more so than usual.
