Look not great, but when I saw your comment I put the block of chocolate away. Small steps.
Fun fact: public libraries across Victoria get State government funding as well as local, so membership is open to anyone with a Victorian address. And most if them let you join online without going in.
There are 50 Vic library services, join a few or all of them and get all the sweet ebooks you want. Some have heaps, some not many, somebody will probably have what you want.
It's a cosy 24C in here, and I have a book and plenty of tea. Seems like pretty great weather to me.
It's so delish and underrated. I am a fan.
I'm doing a favour for someone that involves me spending the night in the Yarra Valley tonight. I have a gorgeous fire going, and I'm kicking back with some yummy cheese. And I'm being genuinely helpful. Love it.
I did banana choc chip muffins yesterday, but must've accidentally used a magical disappearing recipe. There are not that many left. Although a few did make it into the freezer for future snack emergencies.
Super cool! Congratulations!
They're both called exhibition just for funsies. It's at Jeff's Shed, the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre if we're being formal.
But I'd stay at the Royal Exhibition Building and chill in the nice gardens, much better vibes.
In-person interviews are a lot, especially at 9am on a Monday. But I'm now done. Early slots are worth it.
I think it went pretty well. We'll see.
I was made redundant last week, which I'm still coming to terms with. But after wallowing for a week or so, today I went to the zoo and saw the baby elephants. And now I've opened champagne. It's my birthday today, my (quite large) payout's just come through, and I have an interview on Friday. I'm going to be fine.
Aaaaaaarrrrgh
