If you need to lie to decide your babies name. Don't have babies

This reminds me of an AITA post where a woman did volunteer work in some African country, and while there the people she was "helping" were calling her an Amharic name they claimed meant "generous one" or something along those lines. This eventually lead to her naming her baby that, only to later find out from the OP of the Reddit post that it was their equivalent of "bitch".

Why you should probably do some Googling first if you ever decide to give your kid some horrifically unique name.

With the ballsy and insane amount of manipulation going on it's so appropriate that the name in question was "Vriska".

This is basically naming your child after your ex. It's not a good idea.

Edit: not even your ex. Your stalkee.

Tbh I feel like if this was what lead to the divorce then the relationship was on 4ocky ground already

I mean, generally speaking if your spouse is going THAT FAR to fabricate reasoning behind a name, that's likely not the only thing they're lying about to you.

Funny thing is, if his reasoning was "I relate to this character" rather than "Vriska is my waifu", it would have been just as bad, because Vriska is intentionally written to be toxic as fuck!

Also, LOL
