MODERATORS

Hey, we haven't been able to find a secure way to poll everyone yet, and I've really been itching to ask everyone this question so we can get updated numbers on our trans population here. This isn't going to be scientific or anything, but just a quick guess.

Please respond to this post with a 'yes', 'no', or 'maybe'. If you have anything to add, please use a spoiler tag below your answer like so:

spoilerhi!

Remember to respond even if you are cis.

yes

spoilertransfem non-binary. still rather uncertain about identity, but the key tenets so far seem to be: reject man, embrace femininity. visible transfolk helped me realize my transness, including some here 💕

No

spoilerI'm living as a cis guy, so ig I'm not, but I've been toying with the idea. I don't necessarily want to be seen as a guy and if I could press a button to be born different, I'd definitely give it a long think. But a maybe seems like it'd be giving me too much credit.

Yes

spoilerIm some kind of genderfluid. (Is that what gender diverse is supposed to cover?)

maybe

spoilerI pondered this heavily when I was introduced to TF media in my late 20s and early 30s. Came out with the decision that I'm a mildly gender nonconforming cis man. I don't feel any gender very strongly, but I don't know if that's just because masculinity is 'unmarked' in the culture I live in.

I have been questioning lately.

Maybe, but little enough to probably say no.

I'm ostensibly straight and cis, and looking at my life you'd mostly assume that.

I have never felt super masculine, but that could be caught up with anxiety/ASD/ADHD shit. I've never felt like I belonged, so it's kind of hard to assess.

just doing a quick ctrl+f, rn y has 111 matches, and n has 144, but some people have written "no" more than once in their comment, or written "non-binary", or their name has "no" in it. So it seems that the yes vs no is about equal
