Pickling in flimsy plastic containers? I've never seen a pickled product not in a proper glass jar, that sucks :-(

Especially as that's how I source all my glass jars throughout the year for picking and jam making hehe

I guess people don't like pickles near me. Options are limited to a few brands. Of the 3 super markets in my area. One only has dill and a pickle type I don't like (glass hard and plastic containers). The second store has a good brand but they are typically old or dirty (glass jars). While the third store has these half sour and full only in plastic containers. My jam is half sour 😋

Though (I think) from HRT my tastes recently changed a lot, so I might have to try some of the other brands again.

But the gatekeepering of pickles makes them tastier!

anytime i see pickles mentioned on the interwebs i must express my support for the superior claussen dill pickles

grillo's are second place, but they taste like theyre not pickled enough (they do make 'pickle de gallo' though, so they do get some extra points)

Well, it may not be the glass container I'm used to, but pickles…
