My father in law has dementia and my mother in law has to hide certain foods from him so he doesn't just constantly eat. Bananas are the main thing she has to hide. One day she was in the living room and noticed him standing in the kitchen eating a banana. She knew she had hidden them so she went to see if he had found her stash and when she got into the kitchen he turned around and offered her a bite of the stick of butter he was eating. He had peeled it like a banana and was just chomping away. After that the fridge got a padlock.

Plain buns with a bit of butter. It's actually not half bad.
I love doing that, broil them real quick, serve with basic red sauce spaghetti, cheap and tastes great

@feld @lemmyshitpost @twizzay I love garlic, but eating it raw out of the jar just seems absolutely revolting as an adult. I think even my kid would draw a line well before that 😆

saltine cracker
raw garlic clove slices
little bit of honey on top
chew chew chew chew chew swallow
wait a minute. like magic your sore throat goes away, and the garlic will start killing the throat infection too
