The temperature is perfectly comfortable and I'm in shorts and t-shirts. My feet however still get freezing and I have to wear a pair of socks.

I parked my car in a dubious spot at the station because I was about to miss the train and didn’t have time to circle around. It was one of those spots where either side has parked too close to the line. Why people don’t park properly? Anyway, I hope to get back before those cars have been moved. I have no faith in those line parkers.
I was shown an ad to an electric note device. You write by touch and erase by pressing a single button. Reviews said accidental writing and erasing happened often, and once the battery runs out there's no way to use it anymore. It inspired me to buy this: https://www.kmart.com.au/product/mini-magnetic-draw-board-assorted-43112357
very useful when I want to write 5 words but don't feel like it's important enough for a post-it. No electricity needed, no accidental writing, quarter of the price, and fall damage resistant.
Looks fun. Not every problem needs a Rolls Royce solution. Cheap and simple is often the most environmentally friendly too. A basic white board could also do the trick.
There's a rather famous story about the first space race - the US spent millions on developing a biro that would work in zero gravity - and failed to do so. The Soviets used cheap pencils.
Hey @[email protected] see how the comments collapse after 300 comments. How can we make that stop?
I should say the replies. My apologies.
Apparently it's still 27 degrees outside. I might go out for a bit of a scoot.
House to myself for the first time in wks. I watched a movie on loud. 😊
Look, I know Coldplay is a bit naff these days, but goddamn I love Parachutes... And also that Fix You song, especially when the guitar riff kicks in.
I think there might be a bit of a plague of those "pretty white butterflies". Coming back from IKEA and I was startled by how many of them I saw in huge clusters. Most looked like they were trying to get it on too, in pairs.
Scooted along the Yarra from Docklands to Swan St bridge and back then around the marina/New Quay and back home. Did some fancy maneuvering. That was fun. Lots of people out enjoying each other's company.

Tried for T Swift tickets again, as hopeless of an exercise as the first time around. All gone. Delaying the sale of some tickets changes nothing on chances of getting.
Think it’s beer time.
We tried as well. We failed also😭
Speaking of serial killers, if there are any Fincher fans here, “The Killer” premiers on Netflix today.
So I looked at my energy usage over Tuesday and Wednesday when it was warm and I did use my aircon a bit. As far as I can tell aircon use only slightly increased energy usage which would suggest my a/c is fairly efficient.
split system? yeah they use bugger all so long as you turn it on before it heats up outside. Very good at maintaining temperature, but far less power efficient to cool it down from hot.
I have just learned Diwali is on Sunday. I think I will use it as inspiration to put up my new garden lights.
