I get the Royal Canin Small Adult 8kg, but I'm looking to move to something with a consideration to joint health. A fish oil pill squirted on the kibble wasn't appreciated.

I was looking at that one and Ivory Coat. I'm looking for a small or softer, grain free biscuit with at least 65% meat. Vetalogica hits all those except for the softer bit. I think he's over the flavour though.

I really feel like kibble has got a lot harder. I saw a marked change. Maybe manufacturers are baking the pieces bone dry like pottery to overcompensate against the risk of mould

Late to this but if it's helpful - some pet foods contain green lipped mussels which are good for joint health, or you can buy dried ones for treats. That might be less controversial.

Melbcat has also gone onto Solensia to slow progression and ease the pain of arthritis
