There's only 3 things in this world I don't eat. Cantaloupe, rice pudding and porridge. Now I can add papaya to that list. Ick.

Sardines, anchovies and sardines.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Bullshit. Everybody loves sardines.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I think we can narrow this down.

Same but add tuna.

Crunchy peanut butter. Tripe. Oysters. Not too keen on mussels anymore either. Sushi is fine but I don’t really like the soft squish

Edit: Durian. (Haven’t had the fruit but have had durian flavoured crackers.) Also I don’t like cantaloupe

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 month ago

I loooovvvve oysters. Straight up. Down the hatch. No lemon. No pepper and salt.

Eggplants are my worst enemy. Makes me throw up.

Olives are next and then hmm anchovies?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

You can definitely get bad eggplants.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago

Doubt it’s a coincidence it happened on 3 seperate occasions even when I didn’t know they were eggplants.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I’ll take your hand and join you..

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago

None of them register in my brain as food.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

endive, ersatz chocolate, tripe

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I've never had tripe because my mother refused to cook it after growing up with it.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago (2 children)

I've never knowingly had it either. Who knows what's in a lot of foods? 😬

Yeah possible I guess

It’s very likely used in sausage rolls as of at least 4/5 years ago. The pale colour and lesser volume was a hint.

I didn’t mind though as if it was it disguised both the texture and the taste/smell that puts me off

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Balsamic vinegar, pickled herring and giardiniera

Papaya is great, but can be off putting.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

Mussels in vinegar are weird. I'll still eat them but they are chewy little fuckers.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Fair. Cucumber, olives, and coffee for me. Not that coffee's a food, but people sneak it in.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago

I eat/drink these things everyday. Thanks for your courage though.

Cantaloupe, rice pudding and bread n butter custard πŸ™…πŸΌβ€β™€οΈβ›”

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Bread n butter pudding is alright. Just make that shit fancy.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

good bread, good butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, sultanas soaked in brandy. ( How does that sound? )

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago

Throw some berries in there and make the proper custard and you've got yourself a deal.
