Gratitude thread β¨οΈ
Grateful for female friendships! Not being upset like I was a year ago because my ex was too busy to talk to me. The sun. Dog attempting to wake me up twice, potentially because someone has either left the house or arrived.
Thank fuck it's Friday πΊ

(The only catch for me is I tend to be someone people come to with problems. So there's been days when my bestie has come to me with troubles, and then my other bestie, and then mum, and then wifey π«.)
Anyways. Grateful thoughts.
One of the ways wifey and I split jobs is that I do the dishes at night and she, in theory, puts them away every morning.
In practice, most days I end up doing it.
Well...
A couple of days ago, I waited to see how long it would take for her to do it.
6pm β nope. 7pm. 8pm.
Are you going to put them away? "In a minute!"
9pm. 10pm.
Eventually it gets to midnight. Still not put away and she's fast asleep.
So I put them away. At midnight. I might have made a bit more noise than usual in the process.
She wakes up: "Why are you doing that now? It's midnight!"
Oh sorry, it got to midnight and the dishes still weren't put away from this morning, so I'm doing it...
Anyways.
I woke up this morning, and the dishes were all in the drawers.

Grateful my filling is feeling better today
Grateful that the free food market this morning had bocconcini balls.
Bocconcini takes me back to my childhood! Don't want to doxx your location, but where can I find a free food market?
This one is Eastern Food Rescue, which grew out of a Food is Free cupboard in Mitcham. There are a number of Food is Free cupboards around the place too which have free food at random times. The food is primarily stuff that is going to be thrown out from supermarkets and bakeries, so the quality can be variable.
I am grateful that I have choices in my life.
Also that I've just been sent the questions for an interview on Monday, so I can be well-prepared.
