The Last Kingdom.

I can't quite put my finger on it but the series really keeps me watching.

After multiple EU-based users complained about not being able to access Threads app through VPN, Meta confirmed it is blocking such efforts.

Flashback to when my sister in law had an electric car and felt compelled to plug it in at my place everytime she visited.

As Moderator to !BestOf, this is my biggest fear. I've been working pretty extensively on this community in my spare time and I'm afraid that if the Moderators of r/BestOf decide to federate, we will lose. I'm not entirely nervous about fragmenting the community so much as just being r/LesserBestOf. By design, this community shouldn't really be fragmentated unless we decide to become BestOf something specific.

I've been on Reddit for like 12 years and I was never banned by an admin. The fact that you got banned twice is sus.

I did get banned from blackpeopletwitter for being white.

I would add the following:

!BestOf @kbin.social
!newcommunities @lemmy.world
!truegaming @kbin.social
!fediverse @kbin.social
!askkbin @kbin.social
!RedditMigration @kbin.social

This thread has the right vibe, I appreciate everyone here. I hope you are all moderators that can maintain your communities as we see in here.

Please come with me at [email protected] too. I want all of you there! We need some wholesome contributors, even if it's just a downvote.

Don't forget to subscribe to !BestOf.

As the Fediverse expands, the best content may become dispersed. This community will collect the most insightful posts and comments found on the Fediverse! We already have a healthy base and collection of best posts on the Fediverse.

Happy browsing!

As moderator, we will let the community manage the content and decide what is worthy of the frontpage.

I understand the community looks empty on Lemmy, but I can assure you it's not. There must be an issue with the integration between kbin and lemmy, it should be fixed and the real numbers should come up eventually.

This has a strong roadrunner vibe.

It's actually hilarious that consoles might become the new must-have gaming equipment because of this.

I'm the creator of kbin.social/m/bestof. I have been 'advertising' the subreddit of it to start getting traction. Despite all my efforts, I'm still the only contributor to my community. How do communities entice their subscribers to post content?

[-] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I could understand 250-500. 2,000 is just outrageous to me.

I'm not entirely sure why Reddit was going to charge outlandish fees for the third-party APIs. Looks like none of the apps are actually going to pay them, so he's not getting anything out of it. It's really a combination of pushing them out of the market and then being a smug little bitch that really nailed it in the coffin for a lot of people.
