The fact they never used that data in video recommendations is surprising, and if they started to factor it in would have probably helped make this less of an issue

I see someone has chosen violence today

Yeah my Windows system has my Lightroom install and my Fusion 360 install, part of my laziness is that I hear that you can get both to work but I haven't bothered to shift over and make the attempt at getting them to work.

The open source alternatives for those 2 just aren't there for me.

Funnily enough I could say the same about Windows

That thing has broken itself more times than I can count but my 2 linux machines (I still have 1 Windows machine) have been rock solid for 2 years now

The most only reason I have the last Windows machine is because I've been lazy about switching it lol

"Fuck Sony Dads"?

I'd love to but they're unfortunately not real 😞

Unfortunately it's made my workload bigger but there is good news from it, it keeps me busier on the slower days at work lol

The Door [OC] (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

On a recent walk with my TLR camera I stumbled upon this overgrown door and I had to snap a pic of it.

I was really happy when I got home and developed the film to see that this shot came out.

Bit of a hit and miss kind of start so far:

Took my TLR camera on a walk and got a really awesome shot with it but missed focus on one that was awesome too. Basically the in focus shot was unsettling and creepy to quite a degree and the one with the missed focus was depressing and heartbreaking to the same degree... Or at least it would have been if it was in focus.

Then today was a rough one at work as I was informed my paperwork I fill out everyday was changing. Specifically it was being changed as of today so I had to figure out the changes AND get all my other shit done without OT. I got it done but that was by no means an easy task.

Exactly!

So many people don't slow down when conditions say you should it's infuriating.

Just this last week my city was engulfed in fog for most of the days and it was like the end of the with the amount of cars and pileups riddling the roads.

If they ask for my face I'm done with Discord my friends and I will find a new place to chill

The youths refer to me as old (I'm in my 30s) but I will always offer advise to queer folk that need it.

I remember being a young isolated queer and I hope that others never have to deal with what I've experienced alone.

We're in this together and as the future looks rough, finding others is more important than ever.

The found family will be there with you.

My eyes have been on an update binge lately, unfortunately it's just been downgrades.

Fast Food [Rule] (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

I snapped a pic of some local graffiti and after developing the film but while it was still drying, I snapped a pic of it to do some light editing to check how the roll came out.

This was one of the shots, the quick pic had glare on it from my bathroom light and it got all funky when I started doing some edits.

I just had to share it when I saw it.

Moth [Rule] (files.catbox.moe)

I took my medium format TLR camera for a walk the other day and came across some local graffiti so I snapped a pic.

After developing the film and while it was still drying I snapped a pic to do a quick little edit to see how they came put I got this unsettling version that I had to keep and share.

I needed some film canisters for 120 film and turns out they're actually hard to find.

And when I did find models for them they had super thin caps so I decided to model one up with a better (IMO) method for securing the cap than threads.

Here's a link for those that want to check it out.

I also made a version for 116 film that's also in the link above.

Also if anyone has a roll of 220 film they could snag the dims of for me that would be great.
