Who do you think we are, the French? The average American's reaction to the treatment of Palestinians is, "oh yeah, that's pretty bad." It's nothing like the way the masses felt about Trump.

He said "everything is fruit," so we started thinking of whatever we could and asking him if it was fruit, and he committed to the bit.

Too lazy to look it up now but "fruit" is the part of the plant that carries the seed, and we do eat a lot of those. Leafy food like spinach isn't fruit, but things like gourds are.

I had a friend who took a bunch of advanced bio courses in college and we got really drunk one night and he started talking about this and started a running joke where everything was botanically fruit. So, like, rocks, squirrels, pizza parties, all of them were "fruit."

I doubt anything will. The George Floyd protests were as much an expression of bottled-up anger at Trump and the pandemic as they were anything else. It would take something astronomical, really on that scale, to do anything like that.
