This is a pure gold ad and I love it.
Man I love Bautista, criminally underrated actor. Took like 1 or 2 bad roles, otherwise he is fantastic.
My only problem with him is he just LOOKS like a meathead. I wish they'd dress him a little more baggy sometimes just so I can realistically see him as the character he's trying to play. But he's always wearing stuff that shows off his toned bulk.
Or maybe I'm just too gay for him and need him to tone it down a bit so I can pay attention to the story.
He has surpassed the Rock in no time. Honestly the Rock never got any better at acting and now I'm just sick of his bullshit. He's such a pretentious, fake asshole who pisses in bottles
My problem with The Rock is he just plays The Rock in every movie. He's good at the character, but only the one character.
Tight beige or green t shirt, bald head, cargo pants. It's like he walks into a movie set, they point out the wardrobe department to him and he's like "nah I'm good I'll just wear this"lol
Don't think he's underrated any longer. Knocked it out the park in *Blade Runner 2049", and that was a bit part. Also, Dune. Not sure what else he's done lately.

The Economist did a fascinating dive into the gender voting gap. One thing they noted that the gap is really between men who simultabeouslu characterize themselves as both very masculine AND not being masculine enough. Basically, dudes who are insecure about their masculinity.
All that to say, I think if you edited this down it could be a painfully good attack. Having a jacked wrestler compare him to Dolly Parton? Can't think of a more pointed attack.
I prefer this take down of his "masculinity". It avoids the body shaming, which hurts more people than the target.

To be fair though there's a lot of memes celebrating Trumps hero-like physique. Like the cowboy or fireman things in the video.

I love the last part. The idea that one needs to "do it for you" as far as masculinity. It's similar to how people called Hillary "gross" to disqualify her. Which kind of implies that they want to fuck Trump?

Probably. But people watching this who are unfamiliar with Dolly may assume she is just tits and make-up.
Uhhh, that's kinda how she describes herself. Proudly.
But she is also much more. Being compared to Dolly is a compliment, not an insult.
She perhaps one of the greatest living Americans. The amount of money she has spent getting books into the hands of kids is something that doesn't get enough press.
Which is why this is a bad choice.
They should have compared Trump to a Kardashian
I guess, except dolly is very frank about her make up habits. Go look for articles on it. She even has a cosmetics line. She admits she sleeps at night with her make up on.
Not the point.
Trump should be compared to a "bad" celebrity. Not be associated with Dolly's positive aura.
