First time seeing a Technology Connections meme.
Nice

You've missed a perfect opportunity for "through the magic of making two of them"

Nice brown square you got there, it'd be a shame if someone was using light mode right now

I see Technology Connections - I upvote
I see people talking about upvoting Technology Connections, I upvote.
His dishwasher video changed my life.
Hah, same here. The dishwasher video was my beginning with his channel. I adore is dry humor, and informative nature!
alright, never heard of him. everyone on this thread seems to love his channel. Blindly subscribed so I'll watch the dishwasher video later, I'm intrigued now.
It has made my dishes cleaner and my grocery trips more frustrating
Had a lamp in the garage I was planning to donate when I could. It had been sitting there for 4 years unused because it was incompatible with a lamp shade and too damn bright no matter what bulb I used.
Saw the technology conextras (his second channel) video on DIY milk glass, now that lamp is the only light I use in the office, I love it!
This was literally my internal monologue coming into this comment section. I love Technology Connections!
I’d let him press my popcorn button.
ha you did see the video? :D
I may have started looking for a 2004 Sharp Carousel Multi due to this video.
"back when smart device didn't mean just connecting to the Internet"- technology connections 2023
Seriously he's one of my favorite YouTubers
Got turned on to his channel about a month ago, been watching non stop
His vinyl record episode was great. As an audiophile I truly appreciated learning how it works.
I've got a playlist of all the videos I've already seen and I play it for background noise when I'm doing a task that I don't want silence for but also don't want music. Something about the pacing and cadence of his videos is strangely relaxing.
I'm far from the target audience, I never thought I'd be interested in learning the difference between DVD+R and DVD-R, but he had me and my history loving arse with gas lamps, and I got hooked.
I heard that and I was like thank god for the day the algorithm suggested this channel to me. What a gem!
Hey @[email protected] , you're a meme now.
(Come on fediverse, do your stuff!)
Aw, it doesn't work.
Hmm, this works…

But had to use DuckDuckGo from a browser - Memmy (iOS) was no help searching. More testing needed on my end.
Did you get this suggestion on YouTube 2 days ago?!?? It was so random and I like popcorn so I watched all the way through. Seeing this as a meme now is an odd coincidence.
I mean, I subscribe to his channel so I didn't find it that weird. I do love popcorn too though.
Well, he made that dishwasher video a few years ago, sooo...
But to understand dishwashers, let’s first discuss heat pumps.
"Wanna know about turn signals? First we have to talk about THE REFRIGERATION CYCLE"
It was like six months ago. The first videos from him that I saw were the ones about Sony Trinitron TVs. That was a few years ago.
The dishwasher video is from December of 2020
3 years ago aaaaaaaaaaaaa
In the spirit of Alec's pedentry, I must mention that lube does not work by making things moist, instead it works by reducing friction and preventing direct contact between solids. Oil based lubes are a prime example of this as they contain very little water and therefore is ineffective at making things moist but is still effective at reducing friction. Water by itself is actually a pretty bad lube.
Also we're talking about machine lube right? ...right?
IDK this guy, but I've watched this video 😂
Technology Connections, and all his videos are as good as that one
"you're gonna be mad at your toaster!"
And damned if I wasn't.
"With enough lubrication we can do anything"
Alec Watson! Nice to see him getting memed. He lives like an hour from me in Lombard. I love Technology Connections.
Still got his channel in my youtube backlog so to speak.
Oof I envy you. I've seen my first video 1-2 years ago (the rice cooker one) and ever since I've watched all of his Videos (some three times) I'd love to get to experience all of them anew.
Lucky you. I've run out of his videos to watch.
This one came back up in my algorithm too!
