I planned to already!
Sometimes a post fits into multiple communities.
This one is a meme so it's in the 2 big meme communities (the community is highly fractured between the two because of people's opinions of .ml and .world), it's also a Simpsons meme specifically so it ends up in Simpsons meme communities.
Tbh I think they should make it so if a post is crossposted (which they know already) then when it's marked as read, it's marked as read across all of them. This would have side effects but it's the best solution I can think of to the problem.
There are a few people that I'm certain are just spamming nonsense posts for attention. It's especially bad in political communities but even externally there's no reason some people need to ask 5 variations of the same question over the course of 2 hours.
I've started being able to recognize if a post is going to be stupid based on who's putting it up and honestly I really should just block them.
I always heard it starting with:
"You have 300 bricks and you throw one as far as you can, how many do you have left?
299"
The elephant to the river is the same but this joke is told about someone else crossing the river instead. Finally it ends with:
"But... They still don't make it across, why?
Because you threw a brick at them!"
This user is a troll. In a month they'll edit the post to say nothing and then move on to the next troll.
The fact that he hasn't been arrested yet or had his security clearance removed yet is fucking wild
Looking at OPs post history... They missed one actually
I'm attempting to just... Do things... Instead of being intensely perfectionist about it...
And now we have Quak
I think the main problem is that Babylon Bee isn't funny...
It's really easy to make fun of anyone on the left (we do it all the time to ourselves) yet somehow 90% of the Babylon Bee is nothing more than a failed stand up comedian in a small town hoping that saying something offensive will make his parents love him.
Them moving their mouth too much made the AI think they were distracted driving and would dock them for it.
Every single pic was just a super standard selfie. I'm surprised there wasn't more to it.
They mostly get absorbed into the body. Whatever's left is what turns into the shitpost
