Recently bought some new Sheet Society sheets, and holy hell has the quality dipped! Maybe I just got a shit batch, but I will not be spending that much again to find out.

Super bummed because I love my old washed cotton set, they were warm in the winter and cool in summer. This new one is just thin, see-through, and doesn't feel at all like washed cotton.

Could you return them saying the quality was not as described?

I bought them when they were having a big sale so I'm unable to return them.

Sheet version of shrinkflation?

Basically they drop the thread count until sales plummet, then blame the market

Honestly wouldn't surprise me these days.

Hells Blankets did this too. No more 100% cotton with press studs, it’s now acrylic bullshit with a flimsy zip. Not impressed.

The washed cotton vintage sheets at Canningvale are a delight if you're looking for more one day. I've just ordered a second set to try and secretly replace my partner's old scuzzy sheets 😬

Pretty much sold out of queen size though at Canningvale.

They're at the end of a big sale which is probably why. If you don't need them urgently they should be back in stock soon.

Yes I'm kicking myself I wasn't aware of the sale earlier. It's not urgent I can wait.
