Tonight we're playing an old Aussie playlist of mine so
What's your favourite classic Aussie song and I'll tell you if I've played it already?
Warumpi Band,- Black fella.
Did not play that one.

I haven't played that yet but it's coming up.
Evie by Stevie Wright
Electric Blue by Icehouse
Throw your arms around me by Hunters and collectors
Island Home by Christine Anu
Thunderstruck by AC/DC
Electric blue, nice one!
How did I ever miss Thunderstuck? One of the best songs.
Ok. Let’s add TNT to the list too!
We played Evie part 1.
Friday on my mInd
That's a good one. I normally play that but it's not on my list tonight. It is on my mp3 disk in my car though.
I love that one! Gotta play it loud on a Friday
Correction. We did indeed play that. I must have been out of the room.
I really don't know many but Reckless by Australian Crawl will always be the first thing I think of. That moment when the strings come in with the prechorus... goosebumps
I love Australian Crawl. We played Down Hearted at the start of the day/evening/night.
Great southern land - icehouse
Solid rock - goanna
Sounds of then - gangajang
Streets of your town/ cattle & cane - go betweens
Everybody moves - died pretty
My pal - god
Do you see what I see - hunters & collectors
I’m stranded - the saints
Boys in town - divinyls
And of course Security - amyl and the sniffers

Ok. I’m adding another, not my favourite in the least but I’m putting it up there just to be annoying.
Horses!
Dear God no. Howzat by Sherbet is a good song though.
Haha ok. Howzat is a winner, good pick!
To make it up to you I’m going to offering up Dumb Things by Paul Kelly.
Love Paul Kelly.
Did you play Bow River by Cold Chisel? Also Midnight Oil Power and the Passion and Talking to a Stranger by Hunters and Collecters. Do-Re-Mi Man Overboard. Now you've got me thinking!
I played Shipping Steel
Classic!
.... ... so does anyone here like Something for Kate? ....
Private Rain
I love Chisel but but I'm going to throw in Masters Apprentices - Turn Up Your Radio https://youtu.be/1POR4H0gJss?si=Hgzdb4FL6Vs5jbLL
One of the best Aussie rock songs of all time.
...deeper album cut, River Runs Red - Midnight Oil
...banger, Belter - Powderfinger
I like Powderfinger. Not a fan of Midnight Oil.
You played Lemon before off the Zooropa album. One of my favourite songs off one of my favourite albums. (I am aware they are not aussies).
Zooropa was my intro into u2. Had it in a discman walking around Nürnberg in about 1994.
