That's good that it's all fixed now but seriously if your power board doesn't have a safety switch please get one that does.

I think it does? I'm not sure, it's a fairly cheap one from Kmart but from memory I thought that all the boards Kmart sold had surge protection. I wouldn't really know how to find out, but I'm like 95% sure it does

It'll have a little red button on it. It's a reset button. You hold it in for a few seconds to activate.
