Never thought it would be this controversial. People are passionate towards the unaesthetic Daily Discussion Thread name.

I don't mind it. It describes what it is, and it's been that for many many years - everybody already knows what it is, what it's called, and what time or happens. I was also considering if there might be people who are subscribed to the sub but want nothing to do with the DT. Since it's posted by just random people, they might block the phrase "daily discussion thread" since that unanimously used across them all

Agree. I like the old name. Customised with emojis, weather report, whatever. A little pocket of stability
