Oh yeah they still do the in depth questionnaire, and a haemoglobin pinprick test.
And I've read that donating blood/plasma increases endorphins or something? It also makes the body make new blood. Also, apparently, it lessens the viscosity of your blood so reduces the risk of blood clots π€·πΌββοΈ I guess there's also the feeling of doing something that's just an altruistic, purely good deed, makes you feel good too knowing someone out there is benefitting from your donation π
