Bummer

The drunk aggressive homeless man is back, was drinking and swearing explosively on the bench outside. I tried to close the door quietly but the fucking thing squeaked and he was looking at my place.

He’s walked away past my place still glancing at the door. For a second I thought he was going to come knocking and was debating whether to tell him to leave or just call the cops. Thankfully he didn’t. But this is just rubbing in all the trauma from all the other derros before him, and is part of the reason I don’t like to go out. This one has also had a go at me before.

I’m trying to be grateful for the things I have and focus on what I can control, but this spot has always been rough and the pandemic made it so much worse.
