I have a friend who works construction and he’s always whining about safety slowing him down and just like “bro, whatever you’re doing is not more important than your health and life..???”

Like I literally don’t understand why he gaf, he gets paid either way lmao

The guys at my work are up in arms because the company is finally starting to implement lock out/tag out procedures. They think it's all a waste and commin sense will protect people from getting hurt, despite everyone here knowing multiple dudes that have lost fingers, hands, and even arms.

I got a couple minor injuries at work and now take everything very seriously. The only difference is that I get paid the same to do less work, more safely. Win-win considering it's a physical job.
