I'm the same - as soon as I'm on the phone I want to be on my feet, even though generally I'm happy to be sat.

It's too easy to quit though; I can never get going.

I think as long as it gets some responses it's being useful.

Swimming is the easiest for me to do - I find the rhythm soothing and I like being away from any technology so I can just think or focus on the swimming.

I've just counted and I have 74 Firefox windows open... god knows how many tabs that is...

The Greeks were also famous for making multiple, multiple handwritten copies of any literature they encountered

You kinda had to then, since archival paper wasn't invented and papyrus doesn't normally last very long.

Checking in! Thanks for your work, this seems to be about the most stable instance across the whole of Lemmy.

Hi all, I was wondering who here's tried meditation - have you?

If so, did it help? What kind of meditation did you do? How long till you noticed the benefit (if any)?

If not, had you heard of it being used as a behavioural intervention? Would you try it?

I'd tried it before (before I realised I (probably) have ADHD), but didn't stick with it long enough for the results to show. I mean to start it again, but... well, you know the rest.
