@[email protected] I bought this one. I'm not a die hard Trekkie but I like the show and this is a really good game.

I think there's a fan community that has kept it going all these years.

@[email protected] The Wii version is essentially the same game but because the machine isn't as powerful, it has cartoon style caricature graphics. It works really well.

It's also a little bit more immersive throwing the wiimote around as well. ๐Ÿ˜„

@[email protected] oooh Ghostbusters. Bought that day one for my Xbox360. Considering GB content was thin on the ground back then, this was essentially a third film. Loved it too bits.

I have a copy now for my PS3 which my youngest son has enjoyed playing.

@[email protected] Was it not pre installed?

@[email protected] my youngest son loves the free Astro Bot but it's strangely not interested in getting this new sequel.

@[email protected] There were a few games I really enjoyed playing on the switch but I never used it as much as I hoped I would.

As you say, if you're not into the Nintendo fan base (Mario, etc) or Japanese RPGs, it gets boring fairly quickly.

So much shovelware as well.

There were some amazing ports that I was surprised the Switch could even do such as Doom and Alien: Isolation but my grey lite spent more time in a draw than out.

@[email protected] pre-rendered backgrounds meaning the 3D power could be concentrated on the character models. Wonderful looking game that I bought pretty sharpish on release and it made me jump several times. But how on earth did we accept tank controls as normal? ๐Ÿ˜†

@[email protected] Quick recap, loved 1 & 2, enjoyed the 2016 reboot and loved Afterlife.

Frozen Empire is a lot of fun but maybe leans too hard on original cast cameos. (Maybe give them a rest now, go your own way.) James Acaster is criminally under-used.

Not quite as good as Afterlife but still very enjoyable for this biased Ghostbusters fan.

It makes me laugh that I learnt where most of the film was shot but I won't spoil anything.

@[email protected] considering the horsepower of the Wii compared to the PS3 and Xbox360, going for cartoon caricatures of the cast was a good choice and the game is no less fun to play than its big brother counterparts.

Oh hang on, just read this it's easier... ๐Ÿ˜†

@[email protected] Yeah, scrolling through the Reddit opinions, it seems the vast majority aren't impressed. Especially as the machine has no drive or stand included for that price.

@[email protected] "but she needs her time to rest and recuperate. Plus don't all babies look the same really? We'll go another time "

But I don't think that would go down too well. ๐Ÿ˜„
