TLDR: But-hurt C++ dev has a hard time accepting that his favorite language is not memory safe.

You can try to convince the Discord server moderators to bridge their servers to Matrix with something like T2Bot:
https://t2bot.io/discord/

That's what I did when I was running a Discord server,
worked nicely in both directions.

Any way you see fit does not have to mean downloaded from official services.

I won't post links here,
but there are other means of getting the content you rightfully own.

It's not stealing if you already own a copy.

If you buy a copy of something,
then no one should be allowed to steal your copy away from you.

As long as you have the receipt to show that you own a copy of the game,
you should be allowed to play it any way you see fit.

I love Termux too,
but honestly I have little use-cases for it.

Back when I ran a server,
it was nice to be able to SSH into it through Termux from time to time to do some maintenance on the go.

Nowadays I still use Termux to ping/telnet devices sometimes, to see if they're reachable, also on the go.

But other then that,
I don't know what I'd use it for.

Since imo, most CLI stuff is way easier behind a laptop/desktop, due to having a larger screen available to you, for easier:

  • Copy/pasting/dialing in long commands
  • Reading of long/large command outputs

Joycons suck, badly.
Apart from the drift and poor battery life,
they feel bad in your hands.

Here's what I did/do:

  1. Install Atmosphere
    https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere
  2. Install MissionControl
    https://github.com/ndeadly/MissionControl
  3. Connect any good controller(s) you have laying around,
for me it's been my DualShock 4 PlayStation controllers.

The DS4 controllers play much better,
and have been surviving for much longer as well.

Even not the "issue" that basically every time you update something, you have to wait a long time to download proprietary nvidia drivers?

That's what annoyed me the most back in the day with the Nvidia drivers,
so many hours wasted on updating the drivers.

With AMD, this is not the case.

And haven't even talked about my issues with Optimus (Intel on-board graphics + Nvidia GPU) yet, which was a true nightmare, took me weeks of research to finally make it work correctly.

In my experience,
AMD is a bliss on Linux,
while Nvidia is a headache.

Also, AMD has ROCM,
it's their equivalent of Nvidia's CUDA.

I like to add as many repos as I can.
The more apps in F-Droid,
the less reason to go to GooglePlay :)

Here is a list with all repo's I've got imported:

I usually keep the Archive variants disabled,
but they're nice to keep around,
for if you ever need an old version of an app.

Also,
most of these I've found through Droid-Ify,
it's my favorite app to manage my F-Droid apps: https://f-droid.org/packages/com.looker.droidify/

Regarding moving (any) files:

Regarding installing (NSP) files:

Note:
You will likely use the local internet option to transfer/install files.

Make sure to block Nintendo servers before connecting to the internet with 90DNS:

2 issues I have with this:

  1. Google is one of the biggest spy-ware companies out there
  2. Due to 1. I would not be suprised if they participate in Harvest now, decrpyt later
(regarding users who think they will be safe under a VPN)

I'd consider taking another ISP,
you know, just one who is not known for using you as a product and shoving spyware into every nook and cranny they can find..
