That's crazy. I like their interpretation though. A disc is ejectable but a disk isn't.

I think they got that from Wikipedia

Jerboa won't let me post a screenshot right now but here's a link

I dunno, that was at least coherent if not incredibly dumb.

[-] [email protected] 12 points 8 hours ago

Hell yeah, let's go! I personally had a good time last go. I know a lot not of people did not and I don't want anyone hurt but I wouldn't mind being forced home 24/7 again. Only way I'm getting a fucking break from my life at this point.

Well I don't speak Spanish so I'm glad he said what he did. Otherwise I wouldn't even know the bridge I was looking at was a bridge.

Young. Hanging out in my cousin's pool during a party and a girl said I had sexy eyes. Then someone said oh yeah then lick them. She said absolutely but I was like no until drunk people started offering money.

Then she licked my eye. It was kinda hot actually. Then we made out. With mouths.

Doubtful. Chihuahua's are notoriously quiet...

When I married my wife almost 15 years ago my mother-in-law gave me a shirt that said game over with a happy bride stick figure and a very sad groom figure so I took that shirt and I wrote a :-) over the guy's :-( and I wore that shit under my tuxedo and as soon as the wedding was over I opened my jacket and walked around with that shirt proudly for the rest of the night. Yeah game over, I won.

The Signal is a full mind bender of a movie. If you haven't seen it or heard of it, go in blind. It's not a pleasant movie but any means, but a fantastic independent psychological thriller. One of my favorites.

Movie synopsis

Movie synopsisMya (Anessa Ramsey) and Ben (Justin Welborn) are very much in love, but she cannot quite find the courage to leave her awful husband, Lewis (A.J. Bowen). However, when a mysterious transmission starts turning people, including Lewis, into murderous maniacs, the lovers must go on the run

Dogma (720p) (1999) (www.youtube.com)

Two fallen angels who were ejected from paradise find themselves banned in Wisconsin. They are now headed for New Jersey where they find a loophole that can get them back into heaven. The only catch is that it will destroy humanity. A group bands together to stop them.

Because Harvey Weinstein's not only a creep but a total POS, there's no way to stream this movie on any streaming services and it's beyond Kevin Smith's control at this point. But it's definitely one of his funnier films though may not be everybody's cup of tea. But, if you like Kevin Smith, definitely watch this. Probably won't be up long but, who knows?

Another Stephen King adaptation based on the book of the same name. If you 4 hours to kill it's a good time!

Very cheesy movie from the Stephen King book but very thorough as far as adapting a 24 hour book into a movie. I believe it was a TV special when it came out. I've always loved this movie.

Another sci-fi short for you. This one is by John Scalzi and it is a great one in my opinion. Pretty sure there is a YouTube video someone made for this so if that's your thing check it out. Hope you enjoy!

This is one most of you have probably read or watched the YouTube video for. But if you haven't, please enjoy! The YouTube video is excellent but the story is great either way.

This is one of my favorites, it's an interactive reading experience sort of, but it works on mobile as well as desktop and it is really not what the title makes it sound like. It's quite an amazing read. Maybe a little too long for this place but thought I'd share! Let me know if you like it! There's a sequel as well!

I know this is a small community (here on lemmy) but I was wondering what is a good area to live there? We will make about 115k or so and are looking to rent the first year or 2. I have an 8 year old daughter and a wife. We are coming from Tulsa Oklahoma but are very left leaning. We love to hike and spend time outdoors. Def want a nice school for my daughter. Thanks for any advice!
