Kevin Smith has even come out saying the movie didn't age well, but that some of the concepts the movie was discussing didn't have a vocabulary for them. It probably also wasn't ideal for a heteronormative white guy to be the writer-director.

But the movie got made and it tried to have a good faith argument of what was being discussed and trying to have that conversation at that time was probably better for the LGBT+ community than not.

I remember there was one recently written Chinese political opinion piece that openly stated that China's government was not democratic. That claim is consistent with China's self view, but you see a lot of tankies get tripped up on that claim.

This is why you let card set turn-ins continue to scale. Eventually, someone gets 50 armies and they snowball across their enemies.

Unofficially : US doesn't really want that because that would significantly reduce their diplomatic influence

The US has been pushing a lot of it behind the scenes for several Presidents. As the world's economy becomes more equal, the US can't afford being the only country providing the bulk of defense. There have been some minor disagreements on coordination, but I feel like these disagreements have been inflated.

The only valuable US territory for EU nations to host troops would be Alaska and the Pacific territories, and Alaska would be the only decent location for European defense. Any other locations would only be useful for power projection, in which the EU seems rather disinterested in.

That said, the US hosts a lot of training centers for EU troops, including hosting a ton of pilot training schools. So there are a lot of EU troops in the US, they are just on American bases.

Is Kevin Smith going to protest the movie this time as well?

Babies and children, no. I mainly care if those kids are sick as children being sick affect the well-being of who I'm talking to.

I like to discuss vacations and I'll usually ask more in depth questions about travel since I like to travel.

That said, there is usually something beneficial to social cohesion where you care enough about people that you more than just name and role. I've found that it is generally a lot more miserable to work in an environment where everyone is a cog in a machine.

I feel like a lot of the major problems from the game, like the house rules or people not wanting to make trades, stems from the fact people not wanting to lose in Monopoly. A loss in Monopoly is a hard loss.

I feel like self driving cars are going to end up being the vanguard of deciding this, and I basically see it as mirroring human liability with a high standard where gross negligence becomes criminal. If a self driving car can be proven to be safer than a sober human, it will serve the public interest to allow them to operate.

The liability wouldn't be on the development, but the deployment.

This isn't meant to be a discussion on the morality of the embargo, but the affects of the embargo ending for both countries. These affects can be political, economic, or social.
