Hey thanks! These are good suggestions. Focusing on the improvement part instead of depression part makes way more sense.
Thank you <3 I do know people who fit the bill, but I've just bringing them down more than they're able to help me. I guess I'll just keep chugging for now.
They mostly turn into crabs in a bucket communities because the ones that stick around long term in those communities are usually the doomer types.
That explains a lot. I appreciate the advice. Probably saved me a wild goose chase for a non-toxic one.
This is horrifying for a lot of reasons but it'd be nice if my boss had to see the amount of people who yell at me for masking or tell me I look like a man every day. It wouldn't help anything I just hate my boss and want her to feel the awkwardness
I'll take any reference that isn't Wonderland!
Is this a thing? I'd feel like I was punishing a kid for having broke parents.
I really wanted that site to crash and burn. Oh well.
It's a normal Ethiopian name as far as I can tell.
I got Sonic X Shadow Generations as an early birthday present 🥹 I'm no good at Sonic games that use boost and drift controls, plus I've been busy, so I'm taking my time playing through the story, but it was a sweet present and I'm feeling super nostalgic.
Plus it's nice to see Shadow being written better. Sega's own writers have been pretty vocal about hating how they're told to write him. It seems like Sega's finally starting to ease up and letting them inject a little more emotion into the silly Shonen animal series again.
I guess so. I do that with my own pain, I'd think people would be upset if I did it with theirs.
Been trying to get back into animation as it used to be a huge passion of mine. Went to see The Wild Robot and thought it was visually gorgeous, and I appreciated that it kept a consistent sentimental tone. Lately I feel like a lot of movies have this snarky self-deprecating humor and don't try to be sincere until the end of the second act, and it's nice to see a break from that.
Also it's just a 15-minute series made to sell a video game, so there's no real resolution, but I enjoyed Shadow the Hedgehog: Dark Beginnings. I haven't seen Shadow written with any sentimentality in a while, and the fight scenes were fun to watch. Add some sweet and funny interactions with Rouge and my inner 12-year-old is happy.
