The humanitarian aid org this happened to put a out a statement saying they were

  • In the IDF safe zone
  • In a well marked van showing who they were
  • Working with the IDF to ensure they were doing the right thing to not be targets.

I sound like a parrot repeating this.

But

The graph of gambling spend per capita is a nice straight line. From the minnows, all the way to 2nd place, it's straight and direct. Small increments for each country.

USA is second, average spend of $400 per capita. That's pokies, horses, gambling, Vegas etc.

1st place is Aus. $2400 per capita. 5 times second place.

Aus needs to drastically change our gambling rules and regs. Ban advertising on all media forms including Internet. Block international gambling sites that don't comply. Don't associate odds with sports in any way. Pokies in pubs can fuck right off too. Tax that to the point where they serve no purpose to have on site.

If I was the nafarious type...

I'm sure one could buy an old used Tesla that barely works.

Then drive it into the tunnel with a gas can and lighter on the passenger seat. Have a friend stand in the way blocking others from driving in behind you.

I wonder what would happen if it caught fire in the tunnel?

Would sprinkler systems take over? Would the tunnel burn and collapse as you walk out the other end so it's never used again?

Good thing I'm not that type of person....

Got a couple of hours in today of the new patch.

First impressions:

Less vector users. Job done there. Still lots of medics, but give it time they might try something else.

Way less aimpunch. It's easier to hose targets your already on instead of getting dinged by a flincher. Feels good overall. Will be interesting to see how that change progresses as everyone gets used to it.

Got a few free rank ups right away due to conversion of the xp system. Cool.

Barbed wire is crackup. Works well. Already seen people setup great ambushes with it on unique locations.

Bandage healing is interesting. I find targets before you would hit and they would duck away to bandage, now they duck away to bandage and then to heal, so it means the delayed engagement takes longer. Also far less assists from this too.

Snipers holding the sniper rifle (not DMR) seem to walk like a snail. Pulling pistol lets you go fast again. This is the only really annoying change I think

People underestimate google and the commercial side.

Google bard and the AI platforms behind it have been in progress for a decade. Their ability to separate language models for custom uses is perfect for large scale custom operation and direct cloud integration.
