Even setting aside people's gender identity, 1.7% of the population is intersex. A law can't make that untrue.

They'd have to shoot me before I will ever deny my own womanhood. Not even with a gun to my head would I call myself a man. I lived in a closet for 18 years and it nearly killed me. It damaged me in ways I have to live with forever. I am a woman. They can say whatever the fuck they want it won't change that. I will not bow my head. If it comes to it, I'll die with my back straight, proud of who I am.

Even ignoring socially constructed gender identities, in the case of biological sexes, this is scientifically wrong. The world doesn’t fit into neat little boxes like these people think it does

Just ignore the outrage machine and focus on what things you can do to help. The outrage is only to make you tired. Sue when you must, support businesses, organizations, and politicians you agree with financially, vote in every election, don't add to any problem, and ignore Trump and his minions to the best extent you can.
Congrats to all the "both sides are the same" folks who stayed home and handed this election to Trump.

65,000,000 eligible voters don't vote. Should have fought harder to get those butts off the couch to vote than just "but Trump". If you don't excite the base, they're not going to go out and vote.
Not voting is an action. An action that says, "either is fine"
So was appealing to right wing voters and alienating huge portions of the populations. In fact the Democratic Party took a LOT more 'actions' to lose this election than the people who stayed home did. Put your anger where it belongs for fucks sake.

Yeah that doesn't work. Making that argument again and again and not responding to the above critique is why Trump won.
Trump won because millions of people were swayed by propaganda and misinformation.
There was a lot of propaganda going around, but the Dems decided their message was to be in denial about the economy and to court the Republicans who were too sexist to vote for a woman anyway.
The problem is the Democrats told the truth about the economy. They said it was getting better slowly over time and that prices were never going to go back to what they were before Covid. People would rather hear Trump's comfortable lies than face the uncomfortable truth.
Regular people associate "the economy" with their own subjective bubble. Regular people are dumb as fuck and the Dems shouldn't pretend like we are a country with free education where people make collected and informed decisions.
Despite the dems prepping the macro economy to distibute wealth to workers, the workers did not feel that wealth.
It was a good economy for transitioning us to EVs, bad for affording human needs.
Biden hopefully will be the last "must secure the center" democrat. The winner in American elections is the one that has their base turn out more. If you do things to appease the center at the expense of the base, expect to loose.
Unfortunately the Neolibs would rather burn the country to the ground than lose control of the Democratic party
