A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

Counterpoint: You’re the bad friend for asking your friend to help you with a dead body

Yeah, this shower thought is awfully judgy coming from a (presumably hypothetical) killer.

Counter counterpoint: you are the dead body and your best friend is helping to bury you.

"yeah, when I said I'd do anything for you, that was a fucking figure of speech"

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

I have prepended an almost every time I've said seriously that sort of thing to someone.

For me it'd be fine. For my actually close friends I specifically said I would help them with a body if needed, so they're honouring my wishes by asking

Burying a body with friends isn't hard, or even uncommon. Getting them to never talk about it .. that's hard

If you ask a friend to help you bury a body and they agree, that person is definitely a good friend. They're a bad person for assisting you in murder, but you can be a good friend and a bad person.

moving a body doesn't mean they committed murder, seems more like accessory or destruction of evidence.

A bad friend won't help you bury a body.

A good friend will help you bury a body.

A best friend will help you make a body.

But why are we digging 2 holes ? asked the friend

"'A good friend will bail you outta jail.' No sir. A good friend would be sitting on the bench in the cell right next to ya."

Friends help you move. Real friends help you move bodies.

ETA- I don't think burial is the proper disposal if you're trying to avoid detection.

Ehh, plant a tree sapling over it and nobody will find it. Trees will devour a carcass for it's nutrients.

I need to do some research on this

If anyone feels this way, it might be a sign that you need to simply find new friends, or find yourself and seek a therapist.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

Nah, you have the right kind of friend, they don't just help but the body, they kill the fucker for you and you never know there's a body
