@[email protected] Remember that most of the over 8,000 cryptocurrencies in existence are scams, and of those that have real world use cases they are not as private, anonymous, secure or decentralized as their advocates and the popular press regard them as. Goldbacks are vastly superior to bitcoins as an alternative currency. @jon crypto isnt inherently bad, but it's way too nascent/scammy (for now), so i appreciate keeping it at an arm's distance. at the very least, integrating any sort of crypto features would be a waste of dev resources 👍

As long as it's not an imposition or you're secretly mined, it doesn't bother me.
But it bothers me that Vivaldi is not open source. That's more worrying, the rest is auditable.
