TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name
/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ **8. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.

I'm trying to sleep next to my GF and you just woke her up!
What about Fenris Rangers?
I don't think they need a group, lol
I got yer DPS/Healer right here!
Hahahaha thank you for this. A good friend of mine plays the rare medic/dps role in Star Trek Online, I'm gonna send this to him
I can tank!
Rangers can fill both roles though :/
Oh I know, I'm just shitposting about the so-called "noob role".
I think most people tend to start out with Ranger.... who wouldn't want to be able to do damage and also do some casting too?
damn, you didn't had to call me out like that. My first character was a Ranger :(
I'm sorry, I didn't mean it as an insult. I wanted to stress that the utility aspect of being able to heal is a major draw. If you're starting out, you don't really know what's waiting for you, and that minor heal looks like a smart choice.
Full disclosure: the first character I created for any RPG ever was a Ranger. I was playing the NES port of Ultima III, didn't want to get my ass handed to me, and the minor heal abilities looked appealing. That was...jeez, in the late 80s I think?
For me, it's always rogue first. Daggers, speech, and lockpick.
Barbarian for me. Or shield guy. Seven is basically your tank if she has borg shields.
Lol! Rangers a noobs! Real men are stealth archers. /s
sow plz
I played a shaman. I saw that message a LOT.
