You can’t give them leniency.

Two this will happen:

  • they will show up in your bed
  • they will have babies in your house

I have spiders everywhere this year because some spiders laid eggs. They’re different types too.

Yesterday I took my glasses off and went to have a nap. I draped the blanket over myself and noticed a dark spot. “What’s that I asked”, as I put my face 3 inches from it for a clear view. Spider! Fucking fuck spider on my blanket.

I put on my coat a while ago it had several baby spiders on it. I had spiders in my hair three times this summer.

They get no mercy from me now, we had an arrangement and the spiders have broken it.

I had to suspend my catch and release program for spiders when I had eggs hatch in here earlier this year. First noticed what looked like fuzz floating by, looked closer and realized it was a spiderling. Spent two nights going around my place with my ladder, stopping every meter or so to kill every spider in reach before moving on. Killed a bit over 100 spiders, was worried that I had only scratched the surface and would be finding tons more but instead I only saw like 3 more after that.

My cat was my hero for those

She was licking the baseboards and I was very confused, then I saw a couple of baby spiders running away so I killed the stragglers.

There's currently a little jumping spider living in my bathroom. He comes out and watches me while I'm brushing my teeth and whatnot. He is my best friend.

It's his house now. Start packing.

I recently experienced my first giant house spider. Normally I'm fine with relocating spiders but this one scared the hell out of me, needed to get my roommate to save me. I wish so much to know where it came from so I can block that path off for the future

Unironically, living in Australia has conditioned me to be more fearful of smaller spiders (eg. redbacks), rather than the big ones.

Any huntsman spiders that find their way inside get an old white guy’s name (Harold, George etc), and are warmly greeted every time I see them.
