Interesting watch. I'm awaiting an order from Japan of some PS Vita USB-C adapters that are in line replacements. Was rather excited to find them after dusting the vita off for a revisit.

I bought some USB-C female to USB micro male adapters a while back, and those rock (as far as using dongles go anyway).
I still have the odd device (or drawer full if you count ESP32 dev boards) that need micro, but my supply of working micro cables is dwindling and I refuse to replace them lol.
I honestly would pay to have this done by a professional. Hand in my old USB2 device to replace the connector with a USB-C one to cut down on eWaste. Although, I don't know how many people would do that ...
I would as well, it would probably be cheaper than getting a new device
