It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

Segway has launched two new electric vehicles: the ZT3 Pro electric scooter and the Xyber off-road electric bike. The ZT3 Pro is practical for urban riders, with a range of 40 kilometers and a starting price of 3,399 yuan ($468). The Xyber, priced from 9,999 yuan ($1,378), caters to off-roaders with its extended range of 105 kilometers and features like adjustable suspension. Both models boast smart features like keyless unlocking and OTA upgrades.

Call me old-fashioned, I don't need OTA upgrades on my electrical scooter or bike. All this does is create a possibility that features that worked when I bought the product stop working later. Also makes me wonder if that is a potential backdoor to the keyless unlocking they boast about.

Call me old fashioned, but back in my day, bikes used pedals and scooters required feet and we didn't have none of that devil electro-lonical stuff at all.

I still ride my regular bicycle all the time lol, probably going to start longboarding too. I used to skate and I miss it now, longboards seem like fun transport in cities.

I actually designed a project box for a longboard for someone that wanted to motorize it.

Having never had the motor coordination for a regular skateboard, a longboard looked like an easier option. A few of my friends have them, but I never got the courage to try in front of an audience.

You are old fashioned if you live in the 1800s. Powered bikes and scooters had gas engines long ago and the electrics we have now are quieter and cleaner with fewer moving parts and far less maintenance. Foot power is still alive and well, why begrudge people choises?

Back in my day, jokes made people laugh, occasionaly, they still do. Don't stop joking though. Even my grumpy ass can pull a laugh now and then.

Comedy is hard.
