It holds up extremely well.
Yep, without a question, when the blu-ray remaster was out I re-watched it, no regrets.
I've never been a huge fan of the Batman franchise, but The Animated Series from the 90s was the shining exception.
Animated series was 10/10, Adam West was a 9.5, Michael Keaton was a 9. The latest iteration tries to be so gritty and serious that it's more of a parody than Adam West.
Lego Batman Movie is the best Batman
Best after TAS maybe
I will die on this hill
I like someone who would die for a maybe.
Or were those two unrelated points?
TAS is best. I will die on this hill.
Lego is maybe second best (but only b/c Arkham City is a spiritual extension of TAS)
What's this from?
Batman: The Animated Series, possibly the greatest TV intro song of all-time.
Still one of the top rated shows on IMDb.
And well deserved.
It's a close second to X-Men animated series, but damn was it good.
Have you been watching X-Men '97? I still can't believe I'm resuming one of the main shows of my childhood almost three decades later.
Not yet. Its on the list lol fallout and shogun are in front of it.
Kevin Conroy the goat
A picture you can hear
Absolutely loved this show
My favorite TV show ever
I absolutely love those animated Batman series where they used that dark red sky all the time. I also love how the immaculately beautiful the art for that intro looks. It'll never happen, but I want a series using that exact same art style.
But... Uhm... When are they going to warp?
I have the theme song as my alarm sound, makes every morning just a little bit more epic
