We share that reaction for sure.

So like a Robot Chicken sketch that goes on for far too long?

So... a Robot Chicken sketch?

What a twist

Comedy Central seems like a strange pick for Golden Axe

Exactly what I was thinking. I don't remember many funny lines in it

I mean, I guess I can see it working like Tower of Druaga. Well, I guess Comedy Central doesn't have to make it a comedy. Would just be strange since its literally in the company name.

I'm expecting an animated show that uses the characters as props, basically like if Robot Chicken was a single setting show instead of a variety program

Really? I mean, they picked Simon's Cat for an animated short series. A Golden Axe series seems right up their alley.

(Inb4 they also make this one a series of shorts they show between regular programming.)

I'm not predicting a Fallout-tier adaptation here, but as long as I get a few giggles then go on Comedy Central.

Shinobi would make a good show - hope that's next up

Tons of Sega IPs are campy, it fits the bill. Personally I'd have liked a House of the Dead show. Suffer like G did? Don't mind if I do.

Oh man, House Of The Dead would've been great, toward the end of the 00s zombie craze. Like a live-action fantasy cartoon. Shameless cheese and over-the-top gore with a carnival atmosphere instead of the Resident Evil adaptations' too-serious sci-fi horror vibes.

... oh my god. I forgot they actually did adapt House Of The Dead. It's an Uwe Boll movie.

We've hit the bottom of the nostalgia barrel, knocked it over and started digging.
I mean, yes, I played the heck out of this game back in the day. But, I don't recall the plot or the comedy being the primary draw.
