98% of the reason I yearn for Stalinist totalitaranism is that I'll likely be forcibly drafted into some form of employment rather than having to interview. Major stress relief to get the letter saying I will be a gulag toilet cleaner rather than pretending to a soulless HR automaton that my life's passion is whatever today's marketing buzzword is.

Everyone is saying you never get responses but this is about what my email looks like when job hunting because you have to fill out hundreds of applications, and about 1% or so do reply.
