Perchance - Create a Random Text Generator

This is a Lemmy Community for perchance.org, a platform for sharing and creating random text generators.

Feel free to ask for help, share your generators, and start friendly discussions at your leisure :)

This community is mainly for discussions between those who are building generators. For discussions about using generators, especially the popular AI ones, the community-led Casual Perchance forum is likely a more appropriate venue.

  • You can ask for help with prompting at the 'sister' community Casual Perchance, which is for more casual discussions.

Found/fixed a typo... "Hilippe Druillet" fixed to Philippe Druillet

when i googled "stable diffusion 1.5 list of artists" it came up with https://weloveai.ca/stable-diffusion-cheat-sheet/ which has 706, and this https://supagruen.github.io/StableDiffusion-CheatSheet/ which has 875 and seems identical but farther along. I browsed a few others which were much more minor like 200 artists. So I compiled all 875 and artistlist as is is complete as in contains all 875. Also I switched my list to your alphabetized version and credited you identically to how you credited me, lol. Thank you! Say if you want credit differently. I would provide, if you have them, a link to your hub, artistlist and anything else you made on the next version of my hub alongside currently myself, bluepower,vionet,eatham,cocell where im compiling a map of perchance.

I am building my next image generator now specifically for, over time and use, naturally tagging each artist by their properties, like whether they are for scenery or people and their style ~so this huge list can eventually be sorted and we can have sublists like 'all scenery artists' and 'all person artists' and 'all oil painters' etc. From what I've seen of how the ai works, we need the more specific lists built from this list to start making the legendary pictures.

I found and added another artist to my plugin: Louis-Léopold Boilly

I think there are a few others that can be added or might be missing (maybe a lot!). My list/plugin currently has 877, and I have a list of artists that I've used in the past that I haven't checked if they're on the big list yet.

I'll keep adding to the plugin as I find more... so you can check/compare/sync every once in a while if you want. There are also some minor case issues in some of the names that I will fix as I find them.

Yep. I've also been messing around with categorizing the artist list by "style" or "genre". This will be quite a project. lol. I know a lot of sorting, etc. can be done with js or perchance output... but I think the big clean list is a great starting point.

I've also updated my Artist Demo Generator - I added a field to enter any Artist name, to easily check if the AI recognizes an artist that might be missing from the list: https://perchance.org/aa3den2ecy
