How voting works:

Vote the opposite of the norm.

If you agree that the opinion is unpopular give it an arrow up. If it's something that's widely accepted, give it an arrow down.

Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.

4. Shitposts and memes are allowed but...

Only until they prove to be a problem. They can and will be removed at moderator discretion.

5. No trolling.

This shouldn't need an explanation. If your post or comment is made just to get a rise with no real value, it will be removed. You do this too often, you will get a vacation to touch grass, away from this community for 1 or more days. Repeat offenses will result in a perma-ban.

I like being a cuckold and I don't understand the hate it gets.

  • It gets me off.
  • It gets my girlfriend off.
  • It makes it easier for other guys to get laid.
  • My girlfriend and I have more sex before and after a meetup because we're both into it.
  • It doesn't do anything detrimental to my self-esteem because I understand my self-worth isn't tied to monogamous sex - plus if it did, my girlfriend and I could stop any time.

Everyone should be able to do what they want to do so long as they follow the basic concepts of enthusiastic consent. And when people follow that, I don't understand the hate

It isn't so much that the kink is hated, though by the very nature of it, there's going to be opinions about the cuckholded guy. Society won't be open enough for that to stop in any of our lifetimes.

The hate stems at least in part from the way the kink turned into an insult thrown around by assholes screaming "cuck" left and right because they're assholes. Instead of it being a nice niche kink, it's a social weapon. The kink gets tarred with the same brush.

If you guts are okay with it, then please go on. It's nobody's business what is going on in you bedroom.

[–] [email protected] 30 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Well tbf it's at least 1 other person's business what goes on in their bedroom

I see your point. But I'm sure (at least I hope) that they are having long conversation with the Third person before the invitation.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Gosh I can't even imagine how awkward it would be (and shitty) to just spring cuckolding on a third without talking to them about it first

"So, uh, Susan, uhm, well...who's the guy jacking off in the closet there?"

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I was invited to this situation once, before I even knew the word.

I did not because the guy kept making excuses and asking me to describe what I'd do to his wife, instead of getting his wife involved.

Part of it I think it's that you're describing what the general population would call swinging or hotwifing. Cuckolding has an implied humiliation/non-consensual connotation in the public mind so that's why it's seen as derogatory. A cuck isn't having fun, or might not even know it's happening.

Husband is on-board and good communication? Not a cuck

Husband is seen as weak/humiliated, wife unilaterally controls it? Cuck

Whether these definitions are "correct" or not, that's the public perception

I think being a cuck doesn't mean not being on board, being a cuck usually means being a submissive part of the situation. It's just used as a derogatory for being whipped but obviously being a sub in a relationship doesn't mean your relationship is fake.

As an example, someone pressured into opening there relationship isn't really a cuck. They are just whipped in an unhealthy relationship.

Anybody who gives a shit what you do with consenting adults in the privacy of your bedroom doesn't deserve your attention.

There are so many different definitions and connotations with it both regarding the kink/lifestyle and the more traditional origin of the word. There's something embarrassing about your wife cheating on you without your knowledge (and typically due to some shortcoming of the cuckolded party), and with that being the oldest and traditional definition, it makes sense that it wouldn't have a positive connotation.

Then you have the cuckolds who actually like to be emasculated and demeaned, who often talk about not being allowed to fuck their own wives and how superior other guys are at it. Seems like these guys want to be embarrassed by it and freaking flood the internet with porn of them being belittled, licking up creampies, doing a whole bunch of shit that people are obviously going to react to, and that's sorta why they're doing it. As someone with no interest in that, seeing it all over online feels similar to furry culture, which is easy to understand why it gets jokes and dragged on.

Then you have the more swinger-y cucks who still have sex with their wives and stuff, but aren't really the first thing people think of when they think "cuck," since the other types are much louder and more notable. And still within this category, there's definitely a suspicion among non-cuckolds that some of the guys do this because they can't satisfy their wives, or because their wife wants to more than they do and they just go along with it. While that may not be true for most couples who actually engage in it, it does make it easy to see where some more traditional folks could find discomfort/humor in it.

A lot of the reality flies in the face of these stereotypes, like couples I know where the guy has been into it and the girl has not, but it's still easy to wonder (with a bit of comic derision) why some guy is so desperate to have someone else fuck his gf, especially/even when it isn't even for her. Absolutely not endorsing any of these beliefs, but mentioning them because it feels pretty obvious to me that/why a lot of men would consider many of the different types of cuckolding embarrassing or something to make jokes about.

I had to look up what cuckold is, though honestly you do you. "Cuckold" sounds kind of derogatory, kind of like the N word.

As long as everyone on-board is consenting, I don't see a problem.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

The reason people use it as an insult is probably because it feels good to say. It's so close to fuck and you know how we feel about that word.

Definitely an unpopular opinion lol

There are many varied forms of cuckolds and cuckolding. Open communication, trust, and clear boundaries are vital in a cuckold relationship. All participants must understand each other’s desires, limits, and expectations. Activities may include watching the cuckold with a bull, threesomes, or role-playing. Emotional well-being and consent should be prioritized, ensuring a consensual and respectful environment for all involved.

The type of cuckold interested in such relationships comes from diverse backgrounds with various motivations. Some are driven by specific sexual interests like voyeurism or exhibitionism, while others explore power dynamics and the complexities of dominance and submission. Or a cuck might gain their pleasure through masochism the humiliation and contempt his wife and her bull instill by treating him like something despicable they stepped in and scraped off their shoe. often the bull and wife will fulfill the cucks greatest desire by forcing him to endure castration. Then unable to ever father children the husband will have to watch his wife’s bull make her pregnant. Where then as the bull continues to have sex with the cucks wife. It is the cucks duty to care for his wife through the nine months of her pregnancy then birth. It is then the cucks duty to financially support and raise his wife’s and her bull’s child as his own. It is this form of cuckolding and similar forms like it that primarily draws haters. Although I do not know why they overlook this radical form of masochistic cuckolding means the end of the cucks line which they could count as a positive thing.

Then there are cucks who take pleasure in Compersion, which is wholehearted participation in the happiness of others. It is the sympathetic joy we feel for somebody else, even when their positive experience does not involve or benefit us directly. Thus, Compersion can be thought of as the opposite of jealousy and possessiveness. This and three way cuckolding sounds very much like the form of Cuckoldry throwawayolding of the comment I am replying to enjoys.

Interests in cuckold relationships vary widely among individuals, with no one-size-fits-all answer to who might be interested. People of different sexual orientations and relationship structures, including heterosexual, homosexual, or non-monogamous partnerships, may explore the dynamics of cuckolding. Ultimately, it depends on personal preferences, desires, levels of trust, and open communication within a specific relationship context.

As an ending note I would just like to say Cuckolding is something I have absolutely no interest in. And I made clear to my SO decades ago I would immediately pack up and leave her if she ever mentioned wanting to try cuckolding, Hot Wifeing, or open marriage to me. On the other hand, we very much enjoy our swinger lifestyle. Or as called in the old days “Wife swapping: which is an activity we have equal partnership and pleasure participating in.

I found it interesting that Trump's 2015 campaign and the use of the word "cuck" in a derogatory way seemed to happen in at the same time.

That being said, it sounds more like you're a stag than a cuckold. And yeah, kink shaming was never cool. Always seems like it's the people having less sex that kink shame idk.
