On Valentine’s Day in 2009, Biden jogged 2 1/2 miles from the vice president’s residence to the White House. While the vice president was in a meeting, she snuck into his office with the help of his assistant and painted “big multicolored hearts all over his windows for Valentine’s Day.

Not gonna lie, that's really sweet.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Not gonna lie, that's not a prank.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

YouTube prank videos would be more enjoyable if it was.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago

Agreed. Or, likewise, if they were actual pranks and not excuses to commit various felonies.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The real pranks were the first ladies we made along the way.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

I also choose this guys First Lady.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Good thing she isn't married to Bill Clinton. Imagine the awkwardness

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 year ago

Not sure why the downvotes, I thought it was a pretty good joke.

What could go wrong if I, First Lady Hillary, just go into the Oval Office unannounced?

IYKYK.

She was doing this in her 60’s. Gives me hope that I can still get away with ridiculous stuff when I’m that age.

Only if you're rich enough to have the best doctors, dieticians, trainers, etc in America.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Or if you live somewhere with universal healthcare.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Need a husband, I could use some of that free health care, my teeth hurt

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

*Good universal healthcare

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I said what I meant and I don’t need you correcting it, thanks.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

There are countries with underfunded, and ineffective universal healthcare systems. Ofc this doesn’t mean private healthcare would be better.

Lol take your pick. Even Burkina Faso has universal health care, although I doubt you know how to find it on a map.

I hope you realise though that Americans pay more out of pocket even with insurance than you would pay in taxes for UH, primarily because of the price gouging pharmaceutical industry you guys set up there.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Bruh I support UBI and Universal Healthcare. I’m just pointing out how shit the idea that trash public healthcare is a good thing. The progressivists and Britain are fighting tooth and nail to kept the NHS from being gutted, and similarly we should fight for all healthcare systems to be as good as possible. Not settle for a useless and shitty “In theory this works” public healthcare system

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Ah I got you wrong, totally agree.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

All good mate, I could have been clearer.

Cheers!

I actually had a chance to talk to someone who is part of the flight crew who flies her (And other dignitaries) for the US as first lady and they said Jill Biden is the real deal. Extremely nice, even singing happy birthday to one of the crew when she found out it is their birthday.

Kind of one of those things I'm glad to hear about.

Though I kind of thought there was something off, but this was back when Biden was VP. (She would almost never fly on Air Force 2 now since that's the VP's designation)

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

I meant with the story/reporting. Mentally, I forgot Biden was VP first, and didn't think the story would be about her ten years ago, but well.. clearly it was. Nothing to really worry about.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 1 year ago

That's the funniest thing I've ever heard about a first lady.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Wow, these famous people sure have a weird sense of humor to do something like this just for fun.

[–] [email protected] 33 points 1 year ago (1 children)

She could be doing something worthwhile with her time instead, like shitposting on a niche forum of 30 something years old tech workers about a movie for little girls.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Hey Margot Robbie, I love that new film you're in about the atomic bomb

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That's Academy Award nominated esteemed character actress Margot Robbie to you!

And I know "Babylon" bombed, OK? You can stop reminding me now.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I muat say, Academy Award nominated esteemed character actress Margot Robbie to you, I admire your commitment to the bit lol

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 year ago (2 children)

It's almost like I do this for a living or something.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I know this is almost certainly parody but a small part of me can't help but go "okay but what if".

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago (2 children)

No one will ever believe you.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

Saw your new film this morning. Great stuff, I’m actually astonished it got green-lit, it being a bit weird (in a good way!) at times. I too am damn sure you’re nothing more than a parody account… but here I am hoping it isn’t ;-).

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

I want to believeeeeeee

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago
