I've been tending to about 120 baby jumping spiders (P. audax) that emerged from their egg sac this week

Years ago my GF declared that if she were ever going to be in a porn, her nom de poon would be Teen LaQueefa. I settled on Kenny Lingus.

A cellphone shot of the gorgeous aurora tonight. It wasn't quite this dramatic to the naked eye, but this is actually pretty representative of what we could see. I have a bunch of other pics too but I'm sure there will be pics everywhere tomorrow from better photographers.

I haven't followed this as closely as I should have, but I remember seeing a Louis ~~Grossman~~ Rossmann* vid (huge right to repair advocate) essentially throwing his hands up at the New York version of this, as it basically took all teeth out of the bill by providing loopholes for companies to bypass the requirements for "safety concerns." Is it the same situation in the other states?

*I have no excuse I'm just an idiot

Had another "flavor swap" sesh with a buddy tonight and despite some other really tasty treats (including Banana Punch #1 live rosin by Decibel - one of my absolute favorites), the Strawberry Shortcake rosin he brought stole the show.

I'm not typically a big fan of strawberry strains, which is part of why it's such a standout rosin.

The smell is strong and immediate strawberry candy - like those little hard candies with the strawberry print wrapper and soft jelly inside - and the taste when dabbed is pretty much the same (just less intense and more weedy).

It's easily the tastiest strawberry strain I've tried, and since the Banana Punch #1 sold out before I could get some, I may have to get some of this instead.

It's been a few days of using the Crafty+ in various ways, trying out all the functions, disassembling & cleaning it, etc.

Overall I'm blown away by the performance and it very much feels like an upgrade from my Dynavap in every way. Cant really find anything to complain about other than the dosing caps/lids being small and a bit of a pain to open sometimes.

Still love my Dynavap but this feels like a better fit for a daily driver for me. Luckily my buddy has two and can sell me the spare if I decide I want to buy it.

Side note: mixing bubble hash into ground flower and then vaping that mix in a dosing cap is my new favorite thing.

If you've never seen cannabonsai before, check this guy's channel out. Even if you don't grow yourself, the process is fascinating and the results are gorgeous!

I'm just getting caught up, never watched any of their videos before either. Was hoping the drama was just over something inconsequential but juicy & amusing.. but no, of course it's something icky and depressing.

Also this is from Linus Sebastian's email response to the Verge:

In addition to our existing report systems (both anonymous and otherwise) we’ve proactively reached out internally today to encourage members of our team to report any workplace bullying or harassment..

So they're proactively reacting to the allegations? Am I just really stoned?

"PORTLAND, Ore. — Multnomah County is investigating a second suspected heat death as a heat wave continues to push temperatures into the triple-digit range.

A Portland-area hospital reported the death Tuesday when temperatures in the city soared to 102. The county did not specify how the person arrived at the hospital.

This is the second suspected heat death related to the mid-August heat wave. The first involved a person found dead in Southeast Portland on Monday. The county medical examiner’s office is working to confirm whether the cause of both deaths was heat-related.

Multnomah County has opened cooling shelters over the past few days, and also ramped up outreach to seniors and other vulnerable people who may not have air conditioning. A spokesperson said those groups have been at most risk in recent heat events - like the 2021 heat dome."

Portland, Oregon's freeway network is only a fraction of what was originally planned. This documentary takes a look at three proposed freeways that were nearly built, the neighborhood revolts that led to their cancellation, and remnants of these projects that are still visible today.

This YouTuber does a whole series of these short documentaries on Oregon history that are just great

Got my first bubble hash from a buddy and of the ways I've tried it so far (smoked on a bowl, dabbed in a rig, and vaped) I prefer it in the Dynavap the best.

Someone here recommended sandwiching it in between 2 layers of flower, and said no Dynacoil was necessary if you didn't overdo it.

Gave it a shot and it works great even tho my Dyna is the smaller half bowl size. Gives a nice extra kick to the occasional bowl, and I like it more than just adding kief.

I don't know if I'd go buy more bubble hash, but considering how long 3 grams of this shit is going to last me, it won't be an issue for a while.

If you're curious I'd recommend giving it a go. It's about on par with basic resins in terms of price, so it won't break the bank & it's solventless if that's something you prioritize.

I'm a casual runner so maybe this is a stupid question, but the more I get into running the more I'm finding it hard to run at any pace other than the one I settled into.

If I run slower or faster, it's moderated by my stride length, but my feet hit the ground in sync with a 145BPM. If my feet are hitting the ground at anything other than 145BPM it just feels wrong.

I now have a spotify playlist with about a dozen running songs at as close to 145BPM as possible (as little as 2 BPM deviation feels rushed or dragging).

Is this just a mental thing? Is it a bad habit to settle into? Am I alone in this?

The Unicorn Poop (Concrete Jungle) is great for the price (2g/$21) but I splurged a bit on the Rosin (Happy Cabbage) and I'm glad I did - it's great!

I also picked up a bag of legit Cali

Thanks! Fatty was sitting in the front yard with me but he had to go inside. The coyotes are out and about at this hour.

Edit: he's back in the garage
