implying this has any sort of consistency with the legendarium

No, I'm not here to complain about Ashlands. No, I'm not here to make the same QoL whining about hotkeys or inventory space upgrades. I have some truly unique quirky things that should be added and makes perfect sense for the world of Valheim. This is mostly tongue in cheek so take it with a grain of salt. I doubt any of these things will be changed and I'm fine with that.

1st off: Leviathan trees. Why can't we harvest them? If you attempt to cut down the trees on the back of a Leviathan it makes the cutting noise but you do no damage to them. Nothing registers. I feel like it would make perfect sense to be able to cut these down and harvest wood. Now you may be asking, "Why in the world does this need to be added?" Why not? It's a tree. It's in the world. What about immersion?

Consider this: I am on my way to recover my body from a dangerous area. I packed all the necessary materials to set up another portal, except. I forgot one thing, wood for the workbench! It just so happens I come across not 1 but 2 Leviathans on my boat trip there. What need is there to get on these Leviathans if I already have a harpoon and am well beyond the Iron Age. They are simply obsolete. Unless, wood! I can gather wood along the way instead of veering my boat off course to another biome.

2nd: Why don't chickens eat Vineberry seeds? They eat every other seed in the game. I have a plethora of vineberry seeds. 200+ in fact. "But chickens are obsolete!" I don't care. I want more chickens around my farm. I want some omelettes so I don't waste higher resources on higher stamina food for menial tasks.

3rd: I wish there were something you could get for collecting every Trophy in the game. Please make this something when v1.0 releases. Much like the fishers hat.

Lastly: I'm not sure how I feel about the fisher's hat. I want it so bad but I also don't want to go anywhere near the Deep North because of the way the procedural world updates itself with the release of each new Biome. I will simply wait.

This exact thing used to happen to me with Lyft. I would be out late until around 2am at my friends house some nights drinking. When I would open the Lyft app and look for a ride back home they would be at around $90!!!! I would wait for about 20 minutes and the price would drop to about 35-40$. It was outrageous and made no sense. Eventually I stuck with just grabbing a cab each time instead for around 45$

This game was so close. I really thought the 7th seed Packers were about to knock off the number 2 AND number 1 seed. That would've been insane. If only they didn't miss the field goal.

Firefox + uBlock Origin. if you keep seeing the anti-adblock message there are certain filters you must input. I'm sure you can find it somewhere on the Internet. If it comes back then you simply refresh your filters.

Honestly I don't want him to go. I might be in the minority of pats fans but the latter half of this season has shown that he can still coach a great defense. I would've been much happier if they brought in a GM and Bill had less to say on the offensive side of drafting. Who are we going to get that's better than BB?? Only person I'd be ok with is Vrabel. But I'm not sure if Vrabel can get to the AFC championship game again. Maybe I'm expecting too much right after the end of the greatest dynasty in NFL history...

Does this mean I can continue to peer to peer share 4k movies for 'AI purposes'

As someone who worked in an electronics repair shop let me just say this: beware of folding phones. I will be the first to admit that the screen really does look great and I love the large landscape... when it's working. There are so many issues that come up with folding technology. I've had to repair so many Z Folds and Z Flips. The OEM screen protector constantly lifts and bubbles at the hinge. A lot of times there's pixel bleeding along the hinge. The repairability is a nightmare. Think about taking out components of a normal phone. Now double it and imagine having to carefully remove an outside LCD that is incredibly sensitive and breaks at the slightest touch. Replacing a drained battery or any small component like a sub-pba, mic, camera, orr anything else is a nightmare.

I've been ricing my desktop slowly over the years (don't have a lot of time). I've gotten it somewhat down to what I like. I use Archlinux with Open box, polybar, and rofi. I don't use a desktop environment. My question is what are my options for ricing default applications like dolphin or similar apps with default gui's (xsensors) without using a packaged desktop environment. I believe my default theme and icons are Adwaita (GTK-3)

I want to know your opinions on the best distro that is convenient for laptops. Main reason is I want to really optimize hardware performance and more specifically battery life for my University classes. I also want to try a tiling manager as they seem perfect for laptops.

Things of note:

  • Convenience/Performance is key
  • My laptop is a Thinkpad E15 w/ 16 gb ram
  • On my home desktop I run Archlinux w/ Open box & no DE (I've been using Arch for years but haven't used another distro since Ubuntu in highschool)
  • I will likely dual boot with Windows 10 for Office
  • I want to run a tiling manager
  • I don't video game
  • I wont be using a mouse
  • I don't necessarily want to use Arch, want to try something new that I don't have to rely on AUR updates for certain software
