Looks pretty similar to the Scion xD from a few years back. I feel like Toyota really dropped the ball by giving up on that product line rather than converting it into their electric line. Scion was designed to appeal to a younger market and they are who is going to buy low cost electric cars.

And if GM doesn’t turn around and refresh the Bolt, then Byd is going to eat their market share for lunch. The Equinox EV was not a good replacement.

You're probably right. It's really surprised and unimpressed me me that Toyota has taken such an anti-electric stance. They should have been ahead of the curve, but instead, they've lobbied the governments of every country to not shift to EVs. Screw those guys.
