A. Stockholm Syndrome is total bullshit.

B. Why is Netflix buying movies? Because they want audiences and to attract subscribers. It is definitely not

that on some level Netflix wants to take these films off the table, so that some of the biggest potential breakout indie hits of the year end up not being audience movies at all?

That would be incredibly silly. "Let's but these movies so nobody watches them" is not really a logical way to run a business

Is Variety just a glorified blog nowadays? That was filled with so much speculation and just saying stuff is true I can't believe it is not just an editorial.
